Lyrics: Fountain of Life

Of all the songs on the album, this is the one I wrote first. Many years ago, I was sitting at the piano and had my Bible open. This song came together very quickly (which is when I know that the Holy Spirit of Yah is creating something or stirring something new within me to share).
That day, I had the Word opened to Psalm 36. This song really only covers 3 verses from that passage but they are powerful words and speak of the mighty but compassionate nature of our God.

As we were recording this song for this album, I closed my eyes and when I began singing, I started seeing myself standing on top of a beautiful mountain looking down over valleys and green pastures. I felt at complete peace in Yah's presence as words about His character flooded over me.
I also had this song playing during the homebirth of our son, Ezekiel and it brought me much peace then too.
I pray it does the same for you.
